Upon consideration of the results of the data, this further rationalizes in implication to public health nursing. This study utilized the descriptive method of research to explain and evaluate the infection control techniques implemented by the personnel of the hospital on which the respondents are handpicked randomly and were asked at their time of convenience. Meanwhile, this study utilized statistical treatments like percentage, frequency, weighted mean and ranking in the interpretation of the gathered data. After the data were analyzed, it reveals that the personnel of Batangas Regional Hospital satisfactory observe control techniques known as standard precaution anytime while they are in the hospital. It also reveals that they put more emphasis on handwashing techniques which are the basic standard procedures. They also satisfactorily conform on the use of barriers which include masks, face shield, eye protectors, gowns and slippers as a way of preventing contamination spread from one person or place to another. They also practice handling and disposal techniques of throwing infected wastes and lastly, they also comply with the use of chemical solution for disinfection. However, it could be noted from the mean responses that there is a significant difference among the degree of their compliance to the stated standard procedures. The personnel have been practicing handwashing techniques oftentimes that use chemical solutions. Statistical analysis shows that they did not comply with handling and disposal techniques and use of chemical solutions as much as they handling. It can be concluded that supplies and equipments could be a great factor. Non availability and economic considerations lead the respondents not to perform all of this standard precautionary measures to prevent cross contamination and nosocomial infection. That they are fully aware of the importance of these techniques they could not do or practice what are not there
