Abstract
This study aims to determine the impact of the university varsity program to the overall athletic success. The descriptive research design was employed in which data were analyzed using frequency count, percentage, and weighted mean. A 24-item researcher-made questionnaire was administered to 50 varsity players of a university. Results show that most of the respondents moderately agreed that the varsity programs provide benefits that make these individuals feel that they are less valued by the institution that they represent. Majority of the respondents strongly agree that the varsity program of the University of Batangas influence many aspiring students to apply to the varsity programs offered in the university.
