| In the learning areas of IT industry, record keeping is a
critical component of refining strategies because the
records can help you spot patterns and suggest
improvements. Record keeping will also make it easier
to construct formal and informal reports on the progress
of the child. Good records will help you monitor the
progress of your business, prepare your financial
statements, identify sources of income, keep track of
deductible expenses, keep track of your basis in
property, prepare your tax returns, and support items
reported on your tax returns.
University of Batangas e-Class Record can
provide less effort and a more effective and timely
outcome of recording and computing the data of the
students. It can also help to save time on
administrative tasks and give teachers more time to
attend to other important functions. It can really help
with classroom management. It can provide incentives
for achievement and assist in identifying problem areas
of a student. It is the most commonly used means of
analyzing student performance, talents andskills.
Students’ grades are vital information needed in
advancing to the next grade/year level and its
accuracy is very important.
Many teachers feel that the time they take in
recording and computing for the grades of their
students is time that could be better spent elsewhere,
like preparing lessons, researching or meeting with their
students.It can provide a more reliable, secure and
record of your class and this record are stored on
computer system that can easily retrieve and organize.
Record keeping is an effective tool for tracking
contributions made by individual student in our classroom, for assessing students, for informing students
and parents about growth over time, and for setting
goals by both students and teachers. But the process
entails a lot of effort and by computing and storing of
data manually the process is prone to error especially
for the professors who handle two or more classes. By
using the manual way of computing and storing data,
being prone to error is possible and just by a single
mistake, repeating the process may be required.
Computer is a high-speed machine capable of
manipulating data, particularly storing, retrieving,
calculating, sorting and summarizing among others.
This study is exclusively for University of Batangas
teachers and students. The study entitled “UB CLASS:
University of Batangas Class Record Automated
System” mainly focuses on helping teachers in
recording and viewing students records in easy and
fast way. This study will help them know their students
better and noted student performance in class. It will
also lessen their workload and done their work faster
with accurate result. Using UB CLASS they can update
their performance tasks online. The researchers’ goal is
to help the teachers in record keeping.
The system was created using Codelobster. It
operates using the following: WAMP, MySql and Php.
Php is a widely used general-purpose scripting
language that is especially suited for web
development and can be embedded into HTML. Mysql
is an open source relational database management
system. It is based on the structure query language
(SQL), which is used for adding, removing, and
modifying information in the database. The acronym
WAMP refers to a set of free open source applications,
combined with Microsoft Windows, which are
commonly used in Web
server environments. PhpMyAdmin is a graphical user
interface for the MySQL database manager. |
