Abstract
Technology is an essential part of our lives today and few can imagine living without. We can achieved a lot with the help of technology,as it serves a variety of functions in many of the most important aspects of modern society, like education, communication, business and scientific progress.One of the most commonly used technologies is the mobile device or mobile phone. Mobiles are now every one's first choice gadget, either an elderly person or a younger one. It is like a status symbol now. Every person’s hand is equipped with latest mobile models and everyone has its own reason to have this magic gadget in his hands. There is no doubt that the mobile phones have made the life more easy and comfortable. The “AgriGueño: E-Agriculture, mapping, E-Learning etc.” an interactive mobile application” offered detailed information about basic steps in planting crops and breeding livestock and has a mapping feature were you can see the crops available in a particular area in Batangas province. The mobile application provides direction and information about agriculture to the users. This application will be useful for the students of University of Batangas (mostly SHS) and also to teachers, as it will help them to gain students’ knowledge and idea related to it. This also has a quiz feature; the teacher who will register to the application and log in will manage the quiz. Teachers can edit, add, change the quiz questions that the researchers given. Both target users will benefit, as this application will help them to interact with each other while in class. The objective of AgriGueño is to create a platform that will provide information to all students about agriculture in Batangas province, its potential and how it is essential to the life of every Batangueño.
