Abstract
This research was conducted and pushed through to determine the relationship between the profile of the students and their perception on the extent of parental monitoring with their social development along with peer relationship, dating, school participation and community involvement. Participants of the study were high school students and their respective parents. These students were enrolled at University of Batangas, Hilltop Campus during the SY 2011-2012. The findings were extracted from the data in the self-made and validated questionnaires handed to the respondents. The results, interpretations and conclusions gathered from the study were used as determinants in conducting diverse programs/activities which will encourage good relationship between the parents and their adolescents in University of Batangas.
