Abstract
The study entitled "Annyeonghaseyo, Ano'ng Sa'yo?": Impact of K-Pop Idols on the Sales of Clothing Stores in Batangas City aimed to test the impact of K-pop idols on the sales of clothing stores in Batangas City. It also intended to analyze a specific K-pop group and its influence on buyers in terms of buying clothes which delved on the most affected aspects of the sales of clothing stores which includes marketing, sales, and customer satisfaction. The researchers used an online questionnaire to collect data, with K-pop fans as a specification for the respondents. Statistical tests were used to analyze data collected from 100 K-pop fans in Batangas City, including weighted mean and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of the study revealed that K-pop fans searched out a less costly version of their idol's clothing because they do not actually want to buy the same brand, but rather want to imitate their idol's style. Furthermore, the result also showed that there are no significant differences on the impacts on the marketing, sales, and customer satisfaction of clothing stores in Batangas City .
