Abstract
Addressing traffic congestion was one of the initial motivations to look at intelligent transport systems solu- tions for a better utilization of transport capacity through the exchange of real time information on infrastructure and traffic conditions. Traffic officers help keep roads and walkways free of congestion so regular traffic, emergency vehi- cles and pedestrians can move about safely. This study looked into the problems encountered by traffic personnel in Batangas City as they implement the city’s traffic rules and regulations and found out that the most usual problem concerns motorist who would not yield.
