The effective teaching of Philippine History
is an important area of concern for most Social
Science teachers. It is taught as one of the General
Education subjects in all areas of study in the
tertiary level. This research paper aimed to assess
the level of importance given by teachers to factors
that affect the effective teaching of Philippine
History. Descriptive research was used in this
study. Instruments used were survey, interview and
observation. Focusing on instructional materials,
student participation and teacher expertise, the
researchers, through the findings of the study, were
able to offer recommendations on how to enhance
teaching of Philippine history. |
