Abstract
Bullying is characterized as a cruel, pernicious behavior that happens in any context such as schools, church, family, workplace, home, and neighborhoods. This study determined the anti-bullying initiatives of public elementary schools in the Division of Batangas City. The study used the Descriptive quantitative method of research. The respondents consisted of 220 pupils and 20 teachers. The result of the study showed that different forms of bullying such as verbal, physical, social, and cyberbullying are less observed among pupils. It also showed significant differences between teachers and pupils on the level of awareness about bullying. The researchers concluded that the respective programs maintain the goals and objectives of the institutions in fighting against bullying. Therefore, the researchers recommended that future researchers conduct a study on the relationship between self-esteem and bullying behavior.
