Abstract
The study on the development of automatic test paper folder aimed to determine the features of the machine, its acceptability in terms of accuracy, cost, durability, and speed, and the benefits of the machine to its users. The study is deemed to benefit teachers, students, registrars, and future researchers. The theories presented in the said study were all about the Machine Theory and Electromagnetism Theory. It used the experimental method of research. The researchers utilized a combination of careful judgment through observation and the use of questionnaire to collect the data to significantly complete the study. The researchers selected 20 students, 15 teachers, and 15 registrars who were believed to be capable of good decision making in testing and observing the product. The statistical tools used in the study were frequency, ranking and weighted mean. In the end, the automatic test paper folder was proven to be effective since the materials used in the production are appropriate and conveniently available. It was found out that its most probable benefit is that it could provide the teachers with an easier and faster means in folding test papers. The null hypothesis was proven invalid. Lastly, the researchers proposed the use of other materials that could improve the machine’s performance.
