Abstract
This study aimed to assess the perceptions of University of Batangas Senior High School (UB-SHS) students on the effectiveness of UBian Learning Management System (UBian LMS) being utilized in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) in terms of its system interactivity, perceived ease of use, service quality, and learning process. The respondents were 302 SHS students from University of Batangas in the self- administered online questionnaire and were analyzed using percentage, weighted mean, composite mean, and one-way ANOVA. Results showed that the students were using smartphones, laptops, desktop computers, tablets and the combinations of these and were using broadband and mobile data to connect the internet. Also, students agreed on the effectiveness of UBian LMS being utilized in the ODL in terms of its system interactivity, ease of use, service quality and learning process. Moreover, there were significant differences among the perception of UB-SHS students regarding UBian LMS’ effectiveness in terms of system interactivity, perceived ease of use, service quality and learning process. An Action Plan was offered to improve the effectiveness of UBian LMS being utilized in ODL to ensure quality education amidst online learning.
