Abstract
This study aimed to assess the performance of the University of Batangas Human Resource Department (UB HRD) in terms of giving training and seminars, conducting evaluation processes, and managing personnel relation towards the satisfaction of their employees. The descriptive-correlational research design was used in achieving the objectives of the study. The respondents were a total of sixty (60) tenured employees of UB. The study utilized simple random sampling in selecting the respondents while a structured questionnaire was used as survey instrument. The percentage method, weighted mean, composite mean, and Friedman’s two-way ANOVA by ranks were used in the analysis and interpretation of data. The findings of the study revealed that majority of the respondents are 31 years old and above and are working in the academic department. Moreover, no significant differences were found among the employees’ satisfaction in relation to HRD performance. The researchers suggested an action plan for HRD. It was concluded that the UB employees were satisfied with the performance of the HRD.
