Abstract
This study entitled “Is Honesty Still the Best Policy?: Teachers' Perceptions on Academic Honesty of University of Batangas Senior High School Students In Pure Online Learning” was undertaken to provide an exhaustive and thorough discussion as to how significant the teachers’ perceptions of the University of Batangas Senior High School Teachers and the measures employed in the aforementioned university in the arising matter of online academic honesty among the students.This study determined its substance provided to its benefactors. The researchers were able to comprehensively enumerate the initial perceptions that the educators had andthe measures currently then implemented to maintain the academic honesty in online learning. Experimental method is used in this study. The researchers used stratified sampling, and utilized survey questionnaires as the main data-gathering instrument used to obtain the needed data and to determine the perception of the UB SHS Teachers. The respondents of the study were University of Batangas Senior High School Department Teachers, five from each specific subject department. The statistical treatments used were weighted mean, Pearson R, and ranking. The study revealed that there was no significant relation between the perception of the University of Batangas Senior High School Teachers and the measures employed in terms of maintaining online academic honesty. In addition, the researchers recommended policies that are deemed to reinforce and cement the existing measures created by University of Batangas Senior High School Teachers in preserving academic honesty.
