Abstract
This research aims to determine the trends of mortality and morbidity rate in Batangas City in the year 2008.It focuses on the identification of the illnesses that greatly affect the mortality and morbidity in Batangas City. Through this study, the researchers aim to ascertain the preventive measures in order to ward off the identified illnesses. Proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle are found to be still the best way in prevention of sickness and illnesses.
