Abstract
Understanding the lived experience of the coffee harvesters presupposes an in-depth analysis of their phenomenon. It requires immersing oneself in what they do, understanding and accepting their modus vivendi as well as their language command, and uplifting their personalities to uphold their seemingly minute but impactful contributions to the society as caretakers of culture and identity that could be exemplified as the language of one’s nation’s soul. The researchers used a phenomenological method among selected coffee harvesters in a certain farm in Lipa City, Batangas; a place that was considered once as the glorious place being at par with other countries as suppliers of coffee in the world. This paper attempted to revivify and reevaluate the history of the coffee industry in Lipa while preserving the identity of Batangueño. The researchers were able to compose a song rooted in the inspiration of being immersed in the life of the coffee harvesters. The final output of this paper generates a distinctive and orchestrated dance rooted in the movements of the coffee harvesters in Batangas.
