Abstract |
This research study entitled “Artscape: Assessment of the Preservation of the Museo ng
Batangas as a Stress Reliever of Students” aims to determine the effectiveness of museums as
stress reliever in terms of personal, academic, and social stressors. The study’s primary objective
is to determine the population’s response to the coping mechanism, evaluate the significant
benefits of visiting Museo ng Batangas as a stress reliever of students, find whether there is a
significant relationship between visiting Museo ng Batangas as a stress reliever, assess the
challenges faced by the respondents in utilizing the museum as a stress reliever, and address
the constraints through introduction of activities and products. Moreover, the researchers applied
the descriptive quantitative research design to interpret the results obtained from thirty-six (36)
students visiting Museo ng Batangas using simple random sampling. Survey questionnaires are
the main data gathering instrument used by the researchers, administering them physically on a
printed hard copy in order to gather the data necessary. Results of the study suggest that there
are significant benefits in visiting Museo ng Batangas as a stress reliever of students in terms of
academic problems, and social problems. In addition, it was also found that there is a significant
relationship between visiting Museo ng Batangas and its effectiveness as a stress reliever. Lastly,
a promotional video will be created, a website will be launched, flyers will be distributed, and a
trip will be conducted by the researchers as outputs of the study. |
