Abstract
This study entitled “Modified Design of Anti-theft Door” was accomplished with the objective of knowing the features of the technological anti-theft doors greatly contributed to society in different technological ways. In the Batangas City area, there are different criminal activities that are happening, one of which includes thefts such as pickpockets, riding in tandem, intellectual property, etc. But the crime that requires where no one is there is called house theft. House thefts are common especially in city areas during the day or night as long as no one is inside the house. But with the help of modifying the anti-theft door can be used to improve household security and can increase the level of protection in households inside the area of Batangas City. The researchers used an experimental design to test the rate of theft. This was fully utilized that looks into the performance of the product, manipulation, and controlling of groups are done in testing procedures. The product was tested and distributed to the respondents. The residents have an interpretation of disagreement about the level of concern responded to by the selected residents in Batangas City. The product has an interpretation of the agreement, which looks into the efficiency of the modified design of the anti-theft door in terms of accuracy, sensor sensitivity, and detection of intrusion. The null hypothesis failed to reject which therefore resulted that there were no significant variations in the study conducted in terms of accuracy, sensor sensitivity, and detection of intrusion. Increasing the durability, using a deadbolt lock and DC servo motor. Based from the conducted study and data gathered, the results and conclusion identified that the study is proved to be efficient and effective in households, with using other components to improve the product and the door would bring the product to its full potential as a security to households.
