Abstract
The study aimed to address the challenges preschoolers face in developing their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills. The study provided Child Development Teachers with an innovative approach by employing engaging methods, specifically game-based simulations, to better foster ADL skills in children. The study utilized descriptive quantitative research design, wherein the researchers determined whether significant relationships existed between the study’s variables. The proposed study used purposive sampling to determine the sample size, ensuring that each teacher within the identified group of 50 Child Development Teachers had an equal chance of being included. Moreover, the results of the proposed study will be properly evaluated by strand experts and people who will make use of the study. This method helped to ensure a representative and unbiased sample, allowing for more generalizable findings. Survey questionnaires were utilized as the primary tool for collecting statistical data. The findings of the study, along with collected statistical data, researchers' insights and interpretations, as well as relevant articles and similar research, constituted the foundation for drawing conclusions and making recommendations. Finally, the proposed developmental plan, DailySim, a game-based simulation learning app, aims to offer an additional teaching method to educators, which they can test and recommend to enhance the ADL skills of preschoolers. Eventually, if properly developed, this innovative game has the potential to significantly revolutionize learning approaches and thoroughly enhance the ADL skills of preschoolers.
