Abstract
In Filipino culture, orchids are highly valued for their cultural impact and their remarkable appearance. But even with their extended stay, the nation has yet to realize fully its potential in the fragrance industry. This research project was conceptualized to create a perfume with an orchid scent and assess University of Batangas senior high school students' perceptions, preferences, and acceptance of orchid extract and its features as a component of perfume. An experimental study using stratified, simple random samples was the methodology used. The researchers hope to learn more about the wide range of fragrances that these plants have to offer by investigating a variety of insights from 100 respondents and therefore assessing them through ranking. Orchids have an array of scent profiles that are just waiting to be discovered, ranging from the subtle sweetness that conjures romance to the sophisticated elegance that radiates experience. The researchers want to reveal the subtleties and complexity of orchids in terms of safety and longevity through careful investigation and sensory evaluation, providing insights into their possible uses in perfumery. The researchers aim to demonstrate the transforming power of orchid extract in improving perfume compositions through case studies and sensory panels, as well as the possible enchantment or modification suggested through the data collected from the mentioned students, with the goal of improving the fragrance experience for users.
