Abstract
Health is a journey, not a destination; it requires constant monitoring, tracking, and adjustments to maintain and improve. The study was conducted with the primary aim of bridging the gap between health awareness and well-being in terms of physical and social aspects through a diet-tracking app that goes beyond its conventional functionalities. The study employed a descriptive research design to thoroughly observe the phenomenon being examined in this particular research. The sample size was determined using the National Education Association (NEA) formula, amassing a total of two hundred ninety-seven (297) respondents from a total population size of six hundred fifty-five (655) students and six hundred forty-seven (647) students in Grades 11 and 12, respectively. The researchers decided to narrow the accumulated sample size down to one hundred fifty (150) respondents due to time constraints and to ensure the feasibility of the research undertaking. Simple random sampling was employed to guarantee representation across diversified demographics. Subsequently, questionnaires were effectively utilized as the primary tool for the collection of statistical data, and the distribution process took place over a period of 2–3 days for a thorough response. The comprehensive analysis of the study, integrating a fusion of perspectives and collective contributions, led to the formation of its conclusion and further recommendations. Through integrating the innovative prowess of this pursuit into the lives of people, the researchers were able to address the growing need for effective health management tools in today’s fast-paced world where health awareness is often overlooked, forging a path towards a future where it is not anymore treated less and rather used as a guiding light.
