Abstract
Over the last decade, workplace spirituality and “pakikisama” have become a buzzword in business and organization literature. Millennials dominating the work field is a big challenge for companies and organizations. Thus, this paper explored the link between “pakikisama” and workplace spirituality dimensions (engaging work, mystical experience, spiritual experience and sense of community) on the work life of millennial employees of Batangas Electric Corporation II (BATELEC II). The researchers used the descriptive research method with both quantitative and qualitative analysis. The data gathered were analysed and interpreted using weighted mean and coefficient correlation methods. Results showed that “pakikisama” and workplace spirituality have a strong link towards the work life of millennial employees. On the other hand, no significant difference was found between the relationships of the two correlations. Based on the result of the study, the researchers came up with a suggested training program for the enhancement of the work life of employees focusing on “pakikisama” and workplace spirituality.
