Abstract
The research aimed to determine the self-concept, social interaction and academic performances of college students with Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) parents. The present research serves as a framework for a responsive guidance and counselling program for the children of OFW’s. The instrument used was a standardized survey questionnaire distributed randomly. Results led to the conclusion that the respondents have a positive self-concept; most of them have ENFJ personality, meaning that they are caring, enthusiastic, idealistic, organized, diplomatic and responsible; they are skilled communicators who value connection with people. It was also found out that the respondents have above average academic performances. Based on the results of the study, a guidance and counselling program was devised to enhance and maintain the positive self- concept, social interaction, and academic performances of the migrants’ children in the tertiary level of education.
