Abstract
The researchers worked on the development of a computer application specifically for the UB community which may be categorized as a social networking site (SNS). This social media application will allow UB students and faculty members to interact though live chats, private messages and blogs. They can also share documents, photos, and other files in various formats to the user’s timeline in a very easy and user-friendly manner just like the popular social media such as Facebook, Instagram or MySpace. This study aimed to analyze the concept of web programming as applied to the development of social networking sites, design a social networking site customized for University of Batangas, and implement eBrahman Community- the social networking site for UB. Using development research, the researchers who are BSIT students were able to develop a SNS called, eBrahman Community using the latest online technology applicable for social media.
