Abstract
The goal of the study is to determine the difference of the time of expectoration between the use of Lung Flute and Nebulization of Hypertonic Saline Solution among 30 male and female ages 18-25, non smoker, without the presence of cough and colds. The comparative method was used in the study. Based on the analysis of the data, a significant difference existed between the use of Lung Flute and nebulisation of Hypertonic Saline Solution specifically with the time of expectoration. Computation test statistics value yielded at t- test value of 6.24 that is more than 1.699 degree freedom of 29 at 0.05 level of significance. Base on the study, the use of Lung Flute for sputum induction is less time consuming than nebulisation of Hypertonic Saline Solution
