Abstract
The action research was conducted to determine the level of satisfaction of the university’s employees and faculty members with regards to the services its Human Resource Department provides. The paper also intends to present a proposed development program for enhancement of said services. A questionnaire was developed and then subjected to validation of experts in the field. Results from the distributed questionnaires were subjected to statistical treatment, specifically the One-Way ANOVA. Moreover, the researchers have devised a Structured Interview Guide that was used for Benchmarking- the second phase of this action research. Three pre-selected universities in Calabarzon and NCR were visited for interview; the Centro Escolar UniversityManila, Adventist University of the Philippines-Cavite and Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-Lucena City. Results show that respondents were all moderately satisfied with all the HRD services and that there is no significant difference that exist between their profile, position classification and length of service, to their level of satisfaction.
